Hey I would appreciate some help.
I have 2 10 inch rockford fosgate Stage 3's which are 4 ohm DVC's which are 400rms each to a total of 800rms
and my box has a piece of wood seperating each sub

I have a monoblock T10001BD amp
i'ts specs are
# CEA compliant
# MOSFET power supplies and outputs
# MEHSA transfers heat efficiently from the MOSFET devices to the heat sink for high performance
# TOPAZ eliminates ground loop noise
# Trans-ANA circuitry keeps preamp signal clean
# NOMAD "intelligent" protection circuitry
# 500watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
# 750 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms
# 1000 watts RMS x 1 at 1 ohm
# Para-Punch bass EQ (0-18 dB with variable center frequency between 35-70 Hz) with wired remote control
# Fan cooled
# 2.6" X 12.8" X 18"

but this sheet came with some tests and it said
@ 1 ohm it ran at about 1700 watts
@ 2 ohms it ran about 1250 watts
and @ 4 ohms it ran at 750

even though the amp is a monoblock it has spots for 2 speakers not sure why
how would you guys recommend on wiring the subs.

thanks.

If your amp is mono than it means that it has only one channel. One channel meaning it will only power one type of thing. The amount of speaker outputs doen't mean anything. Usually amps with more than 2 outputs have more than one channel. So just hook up each sub to its own output. Hope that helps.

do you think I should power them at 4 ohms each? or How many ohms do you think i should run it at?

well you said the subs were 4 ohms, so run them at 4

well according to my amp specs I could either do them at 4 ohms or 1 ohm

if you look at your specs it says that it takes less power to run at 4 than 1 ohm

bro im sorry but you r giving this guy info when it sounds like you dont really know what ur talking about...

if he has two 10's and they r rated at 4 Ohms, then run them in paralell and you will atleast get a 2 ohm load, which that AMP will hand easily and it will sound 10 times better than 4 ohm... rolleyes

The amp will make 1000w if it gets struck by Lightning and has life support. Your subs if they are dvc 4 ohm will either be a 1 ohm mono load (which will result in SAS - smelly amplifier syndrome when wired in an all parallel circuit or will result in a 4 ohm mono load (great for the amp - bad for output) Here is how to wire your subs the best way on this amp.

My short career of being an mecp certified installer tells me that this guy can sum up several pages of info into a couple of sentences. He knows what the hell he is talking about!!

Correct-a-mundo. Glad to see some people are giving good audio electrical advice, too many people don't know what they are talking about.
