Well I finally saved up enough cash to grab an indash DVD player/monitor. Now Im looking to put the ps2 into the ride. I recall seeing a pix of a ps2 mounted under the glove compartment, I was thinking of mounting it there but I have no clue how it was mounted there. My next option is the trunk but how do i keep it from sliding around back there? So anyone that has any videogame system in their celica, can you guys help me out?
hmm Kdawg should know something, search for pics of his ride just type in Kdawg he doesnt post much, the posts title is like my new mods or something and like 2 pages long
If you want to get really creative take apart the ps2 mold seperate piece wherever you want get extensions for the PS2 controllers run the plugs somewhere creative. etc. etc. etc.
Here's a shot of my airbag if you want to put it here and custom mold. Unless you prefer safety first I wouldn't reccomend it.

hehehehe, Walter and i did that couple weeks ago, it was easy as long as you have the tools to work on it
whoa! thats looks cool...What tools would i exactly need? prolly some kind of cutting tool...
we shouldve took some pictures while installing it! , Walter forgot to get his camera that day, anyways, tools you need...
- Dremel tool to cut the plastic, do some trimming - Skill Saw to cut the plastic as well straight and some trimming inside the body frame. - Pliers or vise grip for bending - Small Sludge hammer for some pounding of the body frame inside - basic tools like Screw driver, wrench, ratchet and sockets
for better results on working the body frame and installing, you have to take the rear seats out for better space.
if i was living in your area, i would love to do this kind of setup for you guys for FREE! call now... j/k
anyways, you need to cut the plastic panel to get the PS2 in BUT you have to do some trimming behind that to get some small plastics out of the way, you have to make in flat in other words so from there you can work the measurement of the PS2.
behind that are some body frames that needs to be cut and bended, you have plenty of room coz thats the fender area. anymore questions i would love to answer it!
by the way, its not basic cutting or bending, its a lot of work, it needs time and patience to do this and you need to know what you are doing, planning is importante, actually we did the setup for just 1 day
this is somethign we did on my friend's car at our store...
too bad the totalled the car 10 days after we returned the car to him.
