i just bought an s2000 antenna for my 01 celica, but it wont fit. i bought the car used and it didnt have the original stock antenna. i may need to buy extra stuff to make it fit like the mount. what do i need and how much is the mount for the celica at a dealership?

Odd problem hmmm... Never had to price out an antenna assembly but I'd imagine it's around $100.

maybe you have a power antenna and the previous owner just ripped it out.
Can you explain why it won't fit(like is the whole too big or what?)

the whole antenna setup is aftermarket. went to a toyota dealership to check it out and found out the whole thing was changed, so i would need to buy the stock mount, nut, and pole just to get the s2000 antenna to fit. it'll probably cost me around $100 to get everything. i'll probably just end up keeping the old antenna, but it sucks that i spent $20 bucks on the s2000 antenna and i cant use it.

why don't you see if you can buy a used mount cheaper at the junk yard?
