install it yourself, all you need to do is jack it up and tighten 4 bolts.

Don't pay $75 dollars for an exhaust installation. DO IT YOURSELF, IT'S ONLY 4 BOLTS!

AGREED!!!! Oh, and the rubber hangers...those can be a biatch to take off. But overall, you are looking at 45 minutes of work if you absolutely have no idea what you are doing.

Why pay that much when you can do it yourself in less than in hour. also you can pull the hangers out of the rubber stoppers so easily by just greasing up the rubber taking a pair of needle nose pliers and simply pulling the hangar out. Trust me,its easy. No need to pay for something that is so simple to do yourself. Now if your scared to get a lil dirty or have a fear of being under cars then by all means pay to have it done, but if you wanna feel a lil' bit of pride by doing something yourself then its a very easy install.

Tools and equipment needed:

1. 14mm socket wrench
2. Dishwashing fluid
3. A friend to help you (optional)
4. Car ramps or jack stands (DO NOT USE FACTORY CAR JACKS TO SUPPORT THE CAR WHILE YOU'RE UNDER THE CAR!!!)

The stock Celica muffler is held (connected to the car) in 4 places. 3 are from rubber hanging posts and 1 from a connection to the rest of the exhast system.

Step 1
***Warning***
You will need to use a ramp or jack stands to raise the back of the Celica. Please don't use the factory tire jacks to suport the car. They are weak and the car may fall on top of you.

Step 2
Unbolt the muffler where the muffler connects to the rest of the exhast system by using a 14mm wrench. You will have to remove 2 bolts. The area can be seen just in front of the rear passenger side wheel.

Step 3
While you are under the car, squirt or rub a small amount of dish washing fluid on the 3 rubber hanging posts. You need to do this to be able to slide the hanging posts out of the rubber holes. This is where your friend can help you pull and take the muffler off. Make sure your car is properly raised. While taking the muffler off, the car will shake a bit and may cause personal injury if it falls on you.

Step 4
To install the new muffler, just reverse the procedure. Don't forget to use dish washing soap to help you get the posts back into the holes.

I installed mine and I was pretty much useless when it comes to car mods. Though I did install an Injen CAI.

The rubber holders are a bitch to get off but some WD 40 and some elbow grease did the trick. Then installing the rest was easy.
