The ticking noise is normal and so is the sucking air noise. As for the gears...you have an auto? Give it a few miles to get used to and I think things will clear up.

It is what we call valve chatter. Many of us celica owners have this. What you could do to reduce the noise, is to use a good motor oil and they actually even have an additive type thing for this. It reduces the noise.

Congratulations. Just make sure it isnt rubbing against ANY wheel well parts or else it will rub a hole in it like mine.

BUt is that normal?? I have a blitz front bumper, and I dunno if youve seen one; But Its got 2 little screens. One on each side. I can look through that screen on the drivers side and see the intake filter!! My intake came with no instructions, thats why Im asking all these questions. I really appreciate all the help though!!!

Make a splash guard or buy one if it is exposed directly to the wheel.

Make a splash guard or buy one if it is exposed directly to the wheel. yes. I know some with a CAI and the Blitz bumper and they were very close to Hydrolocking their car. Had to go to the shop. Be very careful when it rains.

Be very careful when it rains. I have a CAI and Blitz...and no plastic rock guard between the tire and filter! Where can I buy a splashguard?

You need to disconnect your battery so the computer resets and adapts to the new air intake.
