any one know how to take the Footrest cover off a 01 GT Auto so i can put a aftermarket one back in

u have a rubber on it or aluminum plate from stock?
if just the rubber, i think you just screw it on top... wont be a perfect for sure tho.

The cover is just held to the floor with plastic clips, pry it off.

I have a rubber one so do i just pry it out or is there a screw somewhere?

Assuming it's the same as the GT manual, there are no screws, just pull up on it, and it pops off. It's not so much a footrest "cover" as it is an entire one-piece footrest. I'm still curious how the aftermarket one is going to attach, since most leave the OEM footrest in place and screw a new cover over top of it.
