we don't have speed bumps around here. i live in the middle of no where, and ther isn't a bump for about 100 miles.

i might as well throw this in here..ive always been curious..i got sportlines earlier this year and its about time to change my shocks..stock ones are going to shits..so, since there are no shocks for the celica that are made to handle a 2" drop, how long would kyb agx shocks last? because if im going to have to change shocks every year and a half due to the sportlines then im probably better off getting some coilovers or getting different springs.

Go with Hotchkis springs. Drops 1.5 in the front and 2.0 in the rear. The extra drop in the rear levels the Celi out from the "jacked up" look it normally has. They weren't hard to install either; I put them on by myself over Thanksgiving holiday. Only took about 4 hours - 1 per wheel.

coilovers are basically suspension swap with adjustable height and hardness of the spring.

shocks&spring is also a suspension swap but without height and hardness adjustable.

if you go with < 2" drop, you basically dont have to worry too much about stock shocks...yet (they will wear out, but slowly...)

the price for shocks and struts differs from company to company. cheapest brand named ive see are around $500.

coilovers starts from $1100 and up up up.

hope this helps...

don't forget you will have to get the car aligned after dropping it.
