This has probably been answered 100 times but once more for me plz.. today i was at a local hobby shop and i looked at some of there paint... im gona paint my center console black and i saw many black there was like glossy and shiny and flat and wat not and i didnt know which one to get.. they al said enamel paint.. so which one do you need plz help... also where is best place to get clear coat . thnx

You can get all the paints from wal-mart or a paint store. Buy Flat black paint, high glass enamel and high grit (almost smooth) sand paper. Start off by sanding it untill it looks like the pic below, then spray like 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of black paint, and top it off with 4 light coats of gloss. Use alchol to clean the dust off after sanding with a towel.

ok so buy flat black enamel paint... then il need primer , then clearcoat(does it matter which one?) and about 2000 grit sandpaper..
