After opening the map light enclosure to take the bulb out, I walked into the local pepboys/autozone and matched up the size of the bulb to something they had there in RED... BLUE and WHITE was also available. Then replaced the bulb (while still in their parking lot)
The total project cost was under $4 for a single package. Although you only need ONE, the package included a set of TWO bulbs.
Took under 5 minutes to complete and after a few jokes about now being able to develop film while driving
- I was happy with the new "mood lighting" that was installed. Then after about a week, I went back to stock lighting so I could see easily maps and such while driving at night.
