as far as i know...hondata does not make toyota parts. honda & acura are the only parts i've seen hondata make...they're mostly known for 'cracking' the ecu codes of these cars.

try buying the injen heatshield instead...or the rmm heatshield. the ecelica store right here sells the injen heatshield... www.intensepower.com [intensepower.com] sells the rmm heatshield i beleive.

oh no no no, Hondata makes a heatshield for the 1zz and 2zz engines. Those are the only things Hondata makes for Toyota. Its proven that it makes a dramatic difference in the temperature of the intake manifold

http://www.hondata.com/heatshield.html

the question is where I can find it, all of the dealers I've checked only carry the honda parts, which doesn't surprise me

those things are a knock off, my friend put one of the gasket things on his rsx and it didnt do shit, with an infrared thermometer, it read the same temp before and after the gasket install. but if you really want one just google for one.

the things is K20's which is in his RSX already have a similar heat shield stock so getting something similar wouldn't do anything. your buddy should have done a little more research

It's a $60 intake manifold gasket.

What are you expecting?

well w/ the TB coolant bypass I plan on keep my manifold cool. in the summer I want to run a CO2 ling through my manifold so when I'm on the drag strip I can spray it quickly and keep it down to that temp longer
