i'm getting the springs in a week and i have heard reports that the stocks last from 6 months to 2 years... confused anyone have experice using stock shocks with lowering springs and the wear and tear? confused

hey ct, the TRD drop is only 1 inch, with such a minimal drop your shocks might only lose about 6 months of life. i wouldn't woory too much about it. it also depends on how bad road conditions are. i sure that TRD had that in mind though, so i wouldn't worry bout it. wink

well that and TRD had in mind buying the springs along with their struts for a complete set.

I bought mine 5 days ago! I get them installed monday. I am hoping the shocks last as well...

well i'll put them in...see what happens but now i'm kinda thinkin maybe i should save up (not be such a cheap ass) and get the shocks too...hmmm confused
