Why are you selling it after you just did all that work? 13k sounds like a very good price though. Can we see what your add looks like?

IMO i think 13k is too much for that car since it's a GT and you molded the kit

I'm having the exact same problem. The holidays are just a bad time of the year to try selling a car.

its not even a question of the price, I have put obo in all my listings and havent even received a low ball. I havent even received a positive post regarding the sale. It was on ebay a while back, started the bid at 1,000 and didnt even get one bid. Not to sound like an ass, but I thought I owned a pretty nice car. I get "hey thats a sweet car" all the time so I thought it would sell fairly fast. Also not to mention, the cars been for sale for sometime now, 6 months at least.

And by the way, I put all that work into the body to get it into selling condition. heres a pic of what it used to look like

"news on wheels" and "steals & deals" work even better than ebay, imo.

i personally always pick these up and having worked at a grocery store over 3 years i see those things in all kinds of peoples hands...it's a lot of exposure and it's local..which always helps both the buyer and the seller.

^^^ www.newsonwheels.com [newsonwheels.com] is the website for news on wheels, obviously. they should have a # on there.

i dont know the addy of "steals & deals" but i'm almost positive if you walk into any grocery store and most gas stations you should be able to find one of the mags (they're free)

news on wheels is like $1.50

Looks real clean now! Depending on the mileage, $12K might not be an unreasonable expectation. As for the time of year, IMO, when someone needs a car, they NEEDA CAR, whether December or May!

I sold my gen 5 Celi in late Sept and started getting bummed after almost 2 weeks and no serious hits. Then suddenly I had 2 offers on the same DAMN NIGHT, both at my asking price! Ended up selling it for $500 over my price that weekend! So hang in there and good luck!! thumbsup

I noticed celicas haven't been selling well to begin with, especially modded ones. The resale value just isnt as great as i would have expected. People are having to let their celicas go extremely cheap in order to sell them or put them to stock and ask for basically nothing.
