Hey I'm painting all the pieces to my engine this weekend...I seen it done but...the piece that says DO NOT OPEN in front of the battery, if i take it out there won't be any problems right? Nothing will happen..? Let me know about that.

Nothing will happen. Just don't let anything get in it or cause damage to it. And be sure it does not get wet. Other than that you are fine...and don't drive around with that cover off. thumbsup

yeahhhhhh just be carefull opening it, because I broke one of the bolts on mine...

Yea did one better dropped the washer for the bolt right down into my engine and its at the bottom now...yup ohboy the usual stupidity.

yep!
it is the ECU cover..so just keep the internal parts dry.

Yah i painted mine and just covered it with a towel so nothing will go inside there. No problems. rice
