Hey people I have a 1985 Celica GTS with only 70k miles it has the 22R-E engine in it and no mods well anyways it is running at about 500rpms on start up and it's a real rough idle I know that it should be idleing at 750rpms at the least but I have no idea what it could be and I would like some help if possible thank you...

try cleaning your throttle body, bumping up your idle or do a tune up...i have an 84GT too

have you try to turn up your idle speed? or check your alternator???

Is that still the SOHC or is it DOHC?
