Hey guys, what do you think about the replicas that are being sold by Sense Motorsport?

They are going out of business and selling their kits for dirt cheap. I believe it is $250 for front, sides, and rear.

They have the
CWest
Bomex
TRD Style
Invader
Blitz
Buddy Club

Does anyone know the quality of these replicas?

Is it worth it?

Just google search Sense Motorsport.

I asked how much for a TRD style front and rear only, he is only asking $100, that is dirt cheap.

Asked about any other items and he can get ADR rims for about 50-70% off.

Nah, not a fake, he told me to pick out rims from ADR's website and he is going to give me a price quote. He is located in Fremont, PM me if you guys want to get the info.

You know those body kits I listed above, aren't those brand replica brand anyways? Like Buddy Club for example, they are like an APC for acc. right? Or are there really replicas of Buddy Club

Here are the sites that he can hook me up with 50-70% from

www.adrwheels.com [adrwheels.com]

www.rslwheels.com [rslwheels.com]

www.sternwheels.com [sternwheels.c]

He said that stern's is the most expensive out of all three. They are good rims manufacturer?

And with ADR, I searched a bit, and they are good for the price. Went to NCelica and found that a lot a people actually has their rims.

I just checked the price on one of their most popular rims, the 17 inch GT Sport in Silver and best he can do with tires and rims is $580 205-40-17

CombatC87 and CelicaGTizzle, you got PM.

Let me know if the prices he gives you are even good, I can't find the prices on ADR's website so I am not sure how good of a deal if any...

But the kit sounds really interesting tho.

How much does it cost for a pro body shop to paint and install a body kit usually?

400-600, depending on kit size. i'm gonna e-mail him later and find out. the veilside kit is definately fake, because it's called invader STYLE, and he sells the whole kit for like 450, whereas a real one is a Veilside C1 kit, and retails for like 1400. 580 for wheels and tires is damn good, but i bet the tires suck.

stay away from any replicas. May be cheaper now, but the extra cost to get them to fit makes it not worth it. Trust, just go authentic and you'll be much happier and actually come out cheaper.

What?

Translation: there's a reason something is reasonably priced on the market. When there is a notable drop in that price, it's for a reason. When there is a HUGE drop in that price, generally speaking, the reason is not in the best interests of us, the consumer. wink

if a business is making a profit they dont "willingly" go out of business. So to make this easy, if you sell body kits and the fit like shit, well ppl dont buy them. If ppl dont buy your kits you dont make money, so you go out of business.

My kit that I bought was a replica, bought it for 500, it fit like a square peg does in a round hole. after dumping 2500 into body work it now fits better then a authentic kit ever could. So that 500 kit really turned into a 3000 kit thumbsdown

Lesson is, dont be fooled by the price of the kit. If its cheep plan on spending at least 3x the selling price to get it to look good.

Now as for the rims... do bears shit in the woods... hell Id buy a set spineyes
