I got an MTX package from circuit city a while back. The subs they gave me are nice but the amp sucks. So I'm gonna get a new amp soon but Im starting to get confused as hell. One of the guys at circuit city told me to go with the 1 channel Bazooka ELA3001. Then I went to Bestbuy and found the 2 channel Rockford Fosgate. So what would running 2 subs with a 1 channel amp do? Also which one would be better for my 12" MTX subs with a max handling of 800 watts?
Heres some links...

how would it affect it if I went with the one channel rockford? Bestbuy has one thats pretty much the exact same amp but it's one channel.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it

gracias, I never thought Bazooka was any good but some dude at Circuit City told me to go with it. What about the channels though? Does having 1 channel compared to 2 effect anything?

1 channels good but so is 2 smile its not a big deal, some 1chan amps are stable at 1 ohms, if you dont know what that is than dont bother lol, go with fosgate over bazooka any day.

i prefer the kenwood mono amp with a subsonic filter that Best Buy carries. Last i checked it was like 269ish.
