GB: Custom Turbo Kits!

Hello,

Just off, I'm not really doing this to make any money but to see if you guys want a custom turbo kit setup that is basiclly ready to do 300+ whp after you upgrade your motor internals.

As of right now I'm getting my turbo setup (and custom FULL exhaust) made by a buddy of mine which we should have the whole thing done early sping (do to my low funds currently). I will list the tenative specs in a moment. To see some work done by him go to www.neukin.com he does a lot of hondas but he can do anything. If anyone does want to buy a kit, it will be fit and made on my car. We are planning to make 5 extra kits to sell. We are located in Ft. Wayne Indiana, so you can calculate shipping as you wish, 46805 is the area zip code. These kits are being somewhat made to my taste as far as quality of products. I will be upgrading my engine internals and this kit will beable to put it to the limit. If their is something you would like to add or change out of the kit, please feel free to send me an e-mail and I'm sure we can work something out for you.

The current tenative kit includes:

T3/T4 Precision Turbo Rated to 650hp
Tial 38mm wastegate
Tial BOV
Manifold
Pipe & fin intercooler
Fuel Injectors
custom Cold Air Intake w/ filter
all intercooler piping
downpipe
all needed lines and connectors
greddy e-manage with preloaded pre-tuned map
gauges (boost and Air/Fuel)

We are still working on prices, and calling about discounts on ordering multiple items. It will be cheaper then the c2power kit, as well as inludes injectors and larger intercooler. I can't stress enough, that each kit will be made on my car, 2000 GTS, so their should be NO problems what so ever with fitment. If you don't plan on upgrading engine internals and dont want injectors or some other items just e-mail me and we can get you setup.

So now I would just like to see if their are 5 people out their that have intrest in a completly custom turbo kit for their GTS. Please E-mail me with any questions. So far we are looking around $3600 for the kit plus shipping, prices can go up or down, probably down as long as we get a good deal on ordering multiple items.

Cheers!

Adam

With the numbers him and i drew up last night it was around $3600. Thats not even getting a discount on anything, which he has connections all over the place.

If you can make it less than the C2Gas kit, then I'm in. However, I have a GT. So, how would that work? During my Christmas break I could bring my car down, but I'm not positive if I can.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

It takes him about 2 days to make the kits.

If you really want one we can have you send the money, we will order all the parts and everything, and then bring your car down, and we can make it right on your car, installed!

Let me know.

Yes, it will not only be cheaper then C2 but already has a better intercooler, and fuel injectors!

Depends if you want the inejectors and intercooler or not.

Injectors are about $80 apeice, and intercooler is a little more if you want a nice one.

Also you wont have to pay $200 shipping if you come down, and also you can get it installed by him, i would have to ask him for sure though about the install for you.

if you dont want injectors and just a normal intercooler you might save another close to $400, plus save $100 on shipping.

I'd be down if I had the money and your kit turns out to work really well. I also have a 2000 GTS so it would be perfect.

He doesn't work for a company, he does it in his garage.

He's know around town for having the 11 second CRX. His roomate has a first gen RX-7.

We are looking at the Johnnyracecar intercoolers possibly. Very nice. http://johnnyracecar.com/

We are going to punch numbers again here in a few days, after we see who is all interested in the kits. I thinking now I might get a Power FC on mine, it would only be about $600 more for a complete standalone computer.

I know how the money thing goes, I'm waiting on it myself to get this kit going, but I need to know (it should post nearly the same if not better numbers then c2) who is actually interested in this kit. If we get like 5 people down. We would ask for $1,000 per person, and then we would have the kit on my car in about a week, then we would dyno, tune, and post the numbers and pics. If your not happy with the numbers it posted, we can give your $1,000 back.

So please let me know if your REALLY interested in it. If we would get 5 people in by the end of this month, we could have the kit on my car and tested about 2 weeks after we get the money.

Yeah, forgot to type that in.

Kit should only be ran at around 6PSI on stock internals, so NO bye-bye transmission. wave

Remember one thing.. Cheaper is usually not better. And that the reason behind c2's higher prices is the research put in.

As far as turbo choice. Is the T3/T4 practical? is it a good turbo for the GTS? Better than the GT28?

Thats why we are making a kit on my car first!

I decided I will be using the Power FC on my kit. I know no one wants one untill I get my kit on and post some numbers, but just be patient we are working on putting the money together. This thursday I am paying for my power fc with commander and datalogit. Once I get my kit final, I will take it to MWR and have it fine tuned and import those maps onto the power fc of the kits we sell.

C2gas, We aren't trying to steal any biz from you at all, just offering a somewhat different solution. thumbsup I wanna see how my custom job compares up to yours. wave

Any new info on production yet? I think it's cool that another solution besides c2 is out...SF and XS engineering seem to have been disregarded for problems and customer support...so we can't have C2 with a monopoly here... tongue Hope everything goes well.

Ok, heres the update.

I have the PowerFC, Tial BOV, Nuekin Wasgate, Intercooler, and 420CC injectors.

my buddy that is making it (alex) is now a wholesaler and can get parts at cost for me. We are checking on a price of a Precision GT3071R turbo for my setup at least, to each his own. I wanna eventually post some mad numbers myself. thumbsup

The set date is April 4th to get everything made, and on my car.

Sorry for the late updates, been working all the time trying to fund my project.

This is the latest from the Garrett GT series line of high tech ball bearing turbochargers. This is capable of spooling 1,000 RPM earlier than the older GT30R. Ideal for lightly built motors looking to get excellent power with exceptional spool, and road race applications.
