Guys, I am in that stage of addiction where I just charge, charge, and charge for the Celi.

This week I have purchased so many little parts for the Celi. that I feel bad for doing it.

Hmmm...just gotta let it out.

Anyone going on a shopping spree right now?

Hmmm...
Car maintenance stuff (jack, garage rollers, stands, oil utilities, 2x boxes of Mobil 1)
Supra Clear
Red Top Optima Battery
TRD Plates
Front bulbs
Ground Wires

All in the span of about 2 weeks...

I still have a TWM SS, Front Strut Bar, Lift Bolts, and Caliper paint that have been purchased but just needs to be installed/performed.

Hehe, that is what I needed to hear, someone spending a crap load more than me, hehe, thanks man.

What did you purchase this month?

I agree with the whole live once deal. I drove my GT for 4 years and did not do much other than lights upgrade and a bodykit.

This time around I want to change things out a bit on the GTS.

I just paid my insurance so that is cool. But in a month, my tuition is due, that is why I can't spend much...

I feel ya man when you say you need to spend but just be careful! i dont think you shouldnt use the phrase, "you live only once" when its concerning credit cards!! it can f*** your whole life up! you already realize that this could lead to more problems which is good, you dont want to realize that when your in 2 grand with killer intrest!! but congrats on gettin all that sweet ass stuff man! i cant wait to get my bonus so i can do stuff like that! thumbsup i have like a 700-800 limit and i was thinking:custom veilslide exhaust, Carbon Fiber tailights, cusco strut bar, B&M SS, and prolly AEM pulleys..but i heard that pulleys cause problems for the gts so im gonna look more into that!

if you had a gt that you didnt spend too much on that time and now ur spending a lot on ur gts, that means you want it to make it look better and you already like it. it shouldnt hurt you when you spend money on things you like, thats wut life is all about. i think of it that way, i had a gts for a day, it costed me 21,000$, i returned it and got a gts for 10,000$ and in order to make it look the way i exactly want it its gonna be 14 total. im gonna end up having a car that i like and spent less money on. so wut you spent a 1000$ on something you like instead of saving it? save some money some other time, or else work a little extra summertime and get that money back!

this month i spent my money on TPR CAI, small stupid shits that add up to hundreds of dollars... redline tranny fluid 50$ shipped (3qts.), turn signal bulbs in the dash, white turn signal bulbs, white parking light, front and rear kam kit, c one style hoodscoop, trd springs, and so many other small stuff that i cant remember. these shit plus labor will end up being over a thousand. last month was HID, floor mats, 01 ecu, 01 knock sensor, ...
soon will be rims and tires, exhaust and headers.

the thing is that you have to know when to stop and put a limit.

Chelica815, my car is all torn apart right now with parts at different shops in Austin. Should be finished by March. I'll post pics when it's done.

Thanks tido,
No, you don't want to do my job. I'm getting shot at or rockets launched at me everyday right now. If I ever just stop posting here, it's because they got me.
The system is a Kenwood head unit, Zapco 9.0 amp, two Zapco 3.0 amps, an 18" Treo sub, two Boston Acuostic component sets, two SPL caps and two red top batteries.
If you are ever thinking about getting an amp, check out Zapco. These three amps were put on a meter and put out a little over 7000 watts and never even get warm.

tido,
My whole system was recommended to me by an old bass head who has been into sound off competitions for the past 15 years. The sub and amps I got are the best money can buy in my opinion. They have been used to win more World finals than any other brand.
About your job, my life depends on the work you do everyday.

Chelica815,
I know what you mean there too. I have been selling all my toys to buy more parts for my Celica.

I have the same addiction! about 2 weeks ago I bought KYB AGX struts, Eibach Sportline springs, VS1 Style Kit, Hotchkis Camber kit, 18" Maxxim E-Racer wheels.

In about 1 more week I should be ordering a Carbon Fiber hood, Kaminari wing, APR Carbon Fiber Mirrors, and some more goodies.

My girlfriend is getting pissed because I'm always broke since I spend all my money on my Celica.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

lol, nah that is fine. I fix computers for a living, I was just going to get an extra SATA drive for storage but will probably end up using that money for a new car Deck instead. The stock deck is not fully using my Amp and 12".

jonnyess,
It's closer to $60,000. The parts I mentioned are just from the past few months.
No, I don't blame my wife for being angry at my spending, but I told her how I was when we met and that I will never change. She has her account and I have mine. We split the bills and the rest of my money goes to my Celica.
You're right about it not being anywhere near what I have spent. It's only worth $60,000 to me. If somebody were to offer me 60 grand for it right now, I would say no. Because of all the time and headache I have spent to get like it is.
I will be spending about another $50,000 on it in the next few years. Maybe more. Depends on what the competition looks like.

xcivickillerx,
You have no idea just how bad I do have it. It's all I ever think about. I have owned about 20 different cars before the Celica. My old Mach1 used to be my favorite, but now it's the Celica.
I won't stop until it is the best custom car on this planet.
Well, I think it will be the best anyway.

Thanks Chelica815, but I'm not rich or anything, I live check to check like most people. It's actually pretty stupid for me to spend so much on a car. I should be investing it in something that will make my retirement more comfortable.
But I never claimed to be smart. I'm just a big 36 year old kid who has to have the best toys on the block.

If they talk to us about what they like, then we should be able to talk to them about what we like. Can't just be all one sided.

lol. I am lucky that my girl doesn't mind much when I purchase stuff for the Celi. I do however ask her if it is a good idea or not, if she thinks it is a waste after I explain to her what it is for, then I will take her advice.

We take turns tho, she'll take me to some clothing store and asks me about what to buy and if certain looks good on her or not, so it is a give and take like stated above.
