I have a story and a question...

Yesterday i went to wal mart to pick up some carptet mats to replace my rubber winter mats that i've been using sinse my OEM toyota mat got a hole in it.

I put the new mats in my car. Installed some subs for my freind and then my dad told me to pick up my little brother at his freinds house. OK... so at that point i was already over the fact the my friday night was not gonna have any fun involved...

So i picked the kid up and then went to the mall with the kid whose subs i installed. While at the mall i notice some "mud" on my brand fucking new passenger mat. Then i said... "look, you already got shit all over my new mat", and his smart defiant ass was like "me, it wasnt me bla bla bla... " to which i responded, "your the only person who has ever fucking sat there with the new mat".

So i'm sitting in my car and i notice a smell... it smells like shit, literally. So i said "you got shit on my mat", to which it was confermed... it really was shit...

So at this point i was pretty pissed, but not all that pissed because i new it would come out and that my brother would be the one cleaning it. So i get home, its dark out, i leave my car outside my garage with the passenger window half down so the smell doesnt stay in the car.

The kid gets the mat out of my car and proceeds to clean it. I fall asleep on the couch.

This morning, i went to get my backpack out of my car, open the garage... the cars not in there and i notice it has rained yesterday night... FUCKING GREAT. Go outside, notice that i left the passenger window open and now the inside of my car is fucking wet...

Open the passenger door, here comes the good part, ... I notice a HUGE glob of shit on my seat...

so basically... i'm not in a good mood right now...

the question is...

how do i get rid of the shit on my seat without rubbing it in more?

a plastic bag man and use that as your glove to pick up the shit from your seat. Ummm get a towel you dont care about and use that towel to soak up the water and dirt from the seat. Then get some "Tuff Stuff" spray the shit out of the seat and let it soak for a min until the foam goes away. Get a carpet brush and scrub the hell out of it man. Then get that same towel and rub the seat over and over again to lift up the dirt and moisture from the seat. Go over process again if needed. Then Just let the car air out and dont let anyone sit where you just cleaned.

Don't steam clean, save yourself some money and do it yourself, its easy to clean it, Tuff Stuff, a old towel and a scrubbing brush.

^^ Not knocking your method man, with the kind of material of our seats(sort of weaved)when everything is clean and dry you will have a pretty big wear mark from all the scrubbing and from the brush. Unless he doesnt care about that. Learned that from experience with the same method.

That's why I recommended steam cleaning.
Just lookin' out bro! thumbsup

First off I'd give the kid one of these slap and then rub his nose in it like a dog then use his head like a scrub brush.

But seriously I'm thinking steam cleaning might work best good luck.

That was a damn funny story spaztikid. Thanks for the good laugh.
People say to me "Dude, you're almost 40, when are you going to have kids?".
I say "Never", because of shit like that. I don't want any shit in my Celica.
Anyway, I use carpet cleaner on my seats. Works good.
