??? does it blow out easier?... i just got my new rims and tires today...the size is 215/40/17... i felt something different while i am driving above 80... it is like...um...the steering is kinda vibrating..."SHAKY" ...it just feels weird... anybody feels the same way? or...my rims and tires got installed wrong? i did mine at Discount Tire Co. tho... by the way...i got Enkei DM5~~~i love them so much... damn i paid $1170.98 for rims and tires...was it too much? or it is a reasonable price? please clear this up for me thx...

You shouldn't worry about it. If they're mounted and balanced correctly, and you have a good alignment then the chance of your low profile tires popping is as good as your stock 15s popping.

if they feel shaky then you need them balanced. the price is fine dude i paid 799 for my wheels and tires. they don't blow out easier..they are about the same.

Yea definitely isn't balanced correctly...wherever you got them take them back and get them fixed...it shouldn't shake at all

Mine steering wheel has a slight "shaky" feeling above 80mph too. It's nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't get worse or is a very pronounced shaking.
If your steering wheel is shaking so bad it's hard to hold onto, that's a problem.

Mine steering wheel has a slight "shaky" feeling above 80mph too. It's nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't get worse or is a very pronounced shaking.
If your steering wheel is shaking so bad it's hard to hold onto, that's a problem. yea because you are running different size tires on a different size wheel. This happened to my brothers Tundra when he got some big tires with Ivan Stewart rims.

If its shakin its all the wheel balancing ..if it gets worst just go get them rebalanced

thx everybody... it seems like i got everyone confused... it is just a little bit of shaky...the steering wheel just keeps on vibrating...not much...but noticeable...maybe it is because of the bumpy road??? anyway...i think i need to get them balanced again... thx everybody
