I went to Avenue Sound (huge custom stereo place) and got some prices. I was looking to spend three g's but this is what im gettin.

2 Kicker 12" L7s $449 for both
Kicker 1200.1 Amp $575
Kicker front Components $150
Kicker Rear Coaxials $300 (speaker prices might be backwards)
Kicker 600.4 $375
Chrome cap (I forgot the brand $200
Optima Batter $175
Full fiberglass encloser $2000
install $500

Total about $4800

My question the enclosure is going to be sealed. I wanted to know if you guys think that this setup will be competition worthy. Im doin either way, the car goes in the shop on Monday, I was just curious what you guys thought!

My car might be slow, but at least it looks nice!

Not sure why people are asking for pics when you just said you're going to get that stuff.
Anyway, I went to a stereo shop and told the guy I wanted a full system that will shake the ground and I want it to be all Kicker. He said "Sure, I can do that for you. I just hate to see you waist your money like that".
Turns out, he has been into sound-off competitions for the past 15 years and has owned and blown almost every brand you can think of.
So I asked him to recommend a system for me. He did. I researched what he recommended and went back and bought everything he suggested.
But it sounds like you're pretty set on Kicker huh?

I have never been a fan of kicker. I would go with jl XR components, W7, and jl amps (300/4, 1000/1). Sure the kicker will be awesome and be loud as hell but it wont have the same SPL quality as JL.
