[b]Well my friend told me an incident that happened to him today and he received a Fix It ticket. I know a lot of you guys dealt with this problem before. Can you pls give your input about his situation. Thank You. He drives a Black Celica GTS

[color=blue]Here is what his problem is.

-Kristian-
well like i was on the way home on the freeway when i cop pulled me over.. then he was like...i pulled you over for a number of reasons were one you were going at a speed of 75-80...2 you were following the car in front of you too close when you chaged lanes... 3 you have tint in the front windows
..and 4 you have a mod. exhuast

when he gave me my ticket he was like ill give you a warning for the speeding but im wrting you up for everything else.

also the office said that he will received some type of letter from the mail regarding the fix it ticket.

On the Fix It ticket they checked:

Tint: Yes
Exhaust: No

he said that since they checked "No" on the exhaust. does that mean that he doesn't have to fix his exhaust. since probably the cop may mistakenly checked the wrong line/box.

and next where is he supposed to go to to fix the ticket?

also the ticket didn't say anything about a fine.

thanks for any types of knowledable info thumbsup

also you can reach him on AIM his sn is : IkNoCk x TuRnaLI

dont know much, but fix it ticket has to be taken to the police station.
following too close, well he can try to kiss ass and say that he had to exit, probably fine will be cheaper if hes lucky. about yes and no, dont know about it. as for the tint, he can go take the tint off, take it to inspection, and then put it back on for way cheaper (maybe 40$)
if he really cares about tinting and tickets, i know this guy somehow got an eye doctors note that says that the driver needs tint cz of medical reasons. dunno where to get that from, and cant help you out with it, but just givin you an idea of the best way to solve it happywink

since they check the tint.. he gonna have to take if off.. for exhaust he might have to do a smog check.. if the car is drop and lower than 23' or 24' then he gonna have to rise back up.. after fix them take the car to pig office.. they will do a check up on all the stuffs that was check.. you paid like a $10 fee at court house.. happen to me onece cause it was tooo low.. thumbsdown

Yeah its going to be about a 10 dollar fine after he takes it off and gets it written off by a cop. If he decides he doesn't want to take it off he can pay like 80-90 bucks i think. TO the exhaust-no tint-yes question its seems like he has to get the exhaust checked to see if is legal(decibels) and then get take it from there.

i had the same thing for exhaust. the cop told me to my face that it was a correctable violation, yet he checked "no" on the ticket. which means you have to go to court for it! i dont know why they changed it to that, but i had to pay $110 for my exhaust fix-it-tickt. really sucks, but what can you do.

my friend signs my fix it tickets all the time. I always get one for my tinted windows and i take it to my friend who signs it off for me. Then i take it to the court house and they asked if i got it signed and i say yes so they just check if its signed and thats all. Not that big of deal.
