Has anyone in here have problem with the alignment... today i had just recently bought four new tires and got them balanced... the last thing that i needed was to get my car alignment, but guess what...? My car is too "LOW". i got some Eibach TRD lowering springs. Man i am telling you, i went more than six auto garages and couldnt get on any ramps they had there... so what i plan to do now is get some coilovers for my baby and raise it a little and do the aligment on it. after this i will drop it again... what do you think...? is there any advice ya could give me..? you want to know how low my car is with my lowering springs...? i will post some pics later... already, PeaCe OuT...!

yeah i think ur best bet is to get coilovers..at least then you can still lower ur car as low as you want to..and raise it when you need to. thumbsup

Eibach TRD? I'm assuming you have the Eibach Pro springs - if that's the case, the 1" drop is minimal and should not cause a problem. Don't see why you're having one (my TRD springs have been on for almost a year and I've had no difficulties with ramps...

aren't you supposed to have the car aligned whenever you lower the car?

i have a kit... and my car is stock height.

whenever i go to the toyota dealer i have to ask them to place my car and lift it with the "special" lift they have
basically it consists of two metal bars that go undeneathe the car and lift it from the bottom frame not the sides or the wheels... its fully adjustable so no matter how low ur car is they can lift it thumbsup thank goodness for that lift!

i have the stock wheels (GT) with action package and not lowered. everytime i go to toyata dealer here in sarasota it takes 2 people to put my car in the lift. one slides the arm of the lift under my car and the other one grabs the car and lift the car alittle bit to be able to slide the arm of the lift under the car!!! smile

we need to see some pictures of your car bro so members can give any idea how fix youir problem

I have the same springs, and no problem here either with ramps.

I've got Eibach Sportlines. They're 1.8" front, and 2.4" rear. If you get coilovers, you'll need to align it every time you raise it, AND lower it. When you change your ride height, it makes your tires tilt either in at the top (lowereing), or out at the top (raising). I've been told if you don't go more than an inch, an alignment isn't needed. I'm sure there's places in CA that deal with lowered cars.

i dont see why ur car cant go on ramps... it's the shops' problem.

find a performance shop, they for sure can do it... there are lots of other cars that is lower than yours.
