Ok guys i want to paint my engine plastics.I dont want to sound stupid but do you paint them or is there an overlay to do them?..if not,what should i buy, brand of paint,type,etc.is it available at any local store such as autozone?..any help would be great guys thanks wave

there is like a special paint at like walmart,peppys,auto zone,and its made to withstand heat up too like...a lot i dont know

Use high temp paint in whatever color you want. Some people have clear coated theirs, but I have not and mine have been on for about 8 months now with no problems. I painted mine a gunmetal gray color.

Make sure you clean off the plastics and LIGHTLY sand them using fine fin FINE sand paper to get the paint to stick better to the plastic. Spray away and then your golden. happywink

I used Dupli-Color Engine Enamil. I can stand up to 500 degrees.

Refer to Karrion's pic of the paint as to what kind to use. They have different temps though, so thats your call. I painted mine with no clear coat either, and they still look great. thumbsup
