i have a 2000 gt auto. is it possible to change it to manual. And if it is how much would it cost?

not another one of these, Bro seach for this, It has been posted alot.
All I know is that it is poosible, but cost big bucks too.

By the way, is it paid off ? If so you are better off trading it in for a manual gts. If not, pay it oof fast and trade it in later thumbsup thumbsup
Just a suggestion, because that is what I will do soon, I am almost paid off, then I will have a manual gts or a 350 z
I still cant make up my mind. thumbsup thumbsup

lets just say 5 grand and call it a day. you need tranny,pedals, cables, lines, ecu and etc..etc..

i have a auto gt...bro just trade in your celica because even if you do switch it to manual the car was originally built for Auto and is not going to run tip top shape.

know someone local from the "other" site did it. it wasn't hard for him, it was the parts he needed order was a pain. everytime he thought he got all the stuff, something else pops up... spineyes

yup...some guy converted his auto gts to a 6-speed for 5K. with that money he could of either turboed or put a down payment on a far better car...

just keep what you got i have the same exact car and tranny if you can afford it then buy another car but i have no money but im still going to make my car somewhat fast the only thing i am worried about is, if the auto tranny will hold up to more hp, i have a friend that had an auto civic and did engune work and he blew is tranny to peices and he never N-dropped it. but if you dont want speed go for looks thumbsup thumbsup
