Are my lights HID?

Sorry for the Noob question but I think I might have the stock HID headlights. They seem brighter then normal and really white. My car is a 2004. Is there any way to tell for sure?

take a picture of the headlight. i think the bulge on the headlight is bigger for the HIDs.

do you have the headlight angle thingy ont he bottom left of ur dash next ot the door. has the 1-like 9 roller dial. i belive only the hids hav ethat, i knwo mine does. also does your headlight hosuing bubble look bigger than most. finally, look under the Hood at hte driverside light, behind it where you normally change the bubls. is tere a large black hosing so you cant change out your lows and high beams? it hink other than pics that woudl be ir best way to tell. also tunr them on after being off for a while. are the intiially very blue then fade whiter?

right below the round projector, is there a silver piece with multiple round holes in it? if so, then you have factory HIDs. Since you have the 04 GTS with an Action Package, I think the HIDs are next to standard with your options. I am 95% sure you have HIDs.

the horizontal is due to the projection lends infront of the bulb. Even some hid cars dont have that horizontal, if htey dont have projeciton, liek the last models of acura, had hid but no projection.

more info on real hid's
https://www.celicahobby.com/ubbthreads/thread.f_252822_0_collapsed_5__1.html
read Tony's reply happywink

all stock hid applications typically run between 4100K and 4300K and the nice color you see isn't due to the bulb but actually on the design of the projector happywink

I don't have HID headlights but my headlights are angled really, really low to the ground. I can literally only see like 4 feet in front of my car on level ground. Is this normal? Can/will the dealership reangle them for me? I'm sick of having to turn on my high beams all the time.
