Ok, so I'm getting a suspension setup for christmas. Here is what I'm thinking about. Ignore $$ for this comparison:

IDEA 1)
Hotchkis Street Coil Springs
Hotchkis Street Sway Bars
Hotchkis Front Strut Tower Brace
Hotchkis Rear Camber Links
KYB AGX Shocks

IDEA 2)
TRD Coilovers
Hotchkis Competition Sway Bars
Rod Millen Front Strut Tower Brace

So what should I go with? Truthfully, both ideas will be costing equal. It's just, do I want the ease of coilovers, or do I want the comfort of springs/shocks? I can't really find anything on here about people who have TRD Coilovers and what they think about them. Do they have adjustable dampening?

I think you cant go wrong either way. They both look like good setups. The TRD coilovers do not have dampening adjustablity.

I just ordered a set of the TRD Coilovers. Got them for $695 shipped. If you're interested, and fast, there are more available HERE [cgi.ebay.com].

I don't know bro. For some reason, those don't look authentic. The reason why I say that is because I've only heard of the TRD sportivo coil overs. And those don't look like it. But I could be wrong.

That sucks. I just paid $865 for my TRD coilovers. Let me know how they feel. It will be a few months before I get home to try them out. Will you let me know? I never could find anybody who has used them.

That sucks. PM me a couple days past Christmas. I actually have to wait to get these, and let them sit in the house knowing they're there for me. wtf

I disagree. I did my research. They're authentic.

I'd say option 1
but with Koni Sports and TRD Sway Bars

the TRD coil overs do have a stiffer spring rate then the Hotckis Coils... so they will keep your car flatter...
why not check out other coil over options.. I M Racing has JIC Coil overs with 15 way adjustable dampening aswell as height adjustment

If your intersted i have the hotchkis tvs. Full coilovers, front strut bar with camber adjustment, rear end links, and rear camber. The only thing i dont have are the sways. I might sell due to needing money. Make me an offer.

Finally found a pic of them installed. They say if you drop your car more than 1.8 it will blow these shocks quick. Anybody know if this is true?
What drop are you going with?

Love the looks of these.

Good find. I'm going with the drop that TRD reccommends: Front 1.68"; Rear 1.75"

How do you set it to that exact drop? Most people with coilovers don't how far it is dropped.
