Any of you guys have a 3,4, or 6 puck clutch for your Celica? I had a 6 puck ACT disc on my old Eclipse and it bites like crazy, wasn't very good for commuting where I get stuck in stop and go traffic. I was just wondering if it's the same for the Celica because I was thinking of getting a thick cerametallic Exedy disc. Its a 3 puck so I was thinking it's gonna be worst.

yes it will be worse. I had a 6 puck ACT. they all do it no matter what kind of car you have. NOw i have an Exedy stage one street clutch and i love it. no more chattter and hard grabbing when i am just driving around. If you are just gonna race it there is no doubt that the puck clutch is FAR superirior to a street disk but not very practicle if you have a lot of stop and going.

thats my $.02

Why some people put clutches that can handle 300+ foot pounds of torque on a car that doesn't even have half that is beyond me.

Thanks for the reply guys. I was leaning towards the organic disc since its cheaper and probably last longer.

Everybody I ask says the RPS clutch from MWR is the way to go. Still researching that before I buy it though.

I have the exedy 3 puck clutch, its actually very streetable for a 3 puck, however like said above i wouldnt get it unless you need it. Theres no point getting a clutch like that if you are stock or just have basic bolt ons. If you are planning on getting a turbo, then this is a great clutch, will hold all the power and stil be streetable.
