So I am thinking...

When I got my GTS it is fully packaged with leather interior. But I guess the previous owner did not take care of the front seats that well. It is actually just the passenger one. It is like old raggedy ass leather. What I was thinking was swapping the two front seats with the red inserts seats that comes with the Red Celica.

This will not cost me anything so money is not an issue.

What do you guys think? O btw, I tried those leather care dealies to fix it but still rough ass hell.

Well. The theme of my car is silver.black.with a tint of red.

Should I swap out the back seat also, or just swap out the two front seats and leave the back black leather? The leather in the back is in mint condition and it looks better than having that grey cloth colored one.

hehe that's my theme too but I've got blue in there also.

I think you should stick with the leather in the back. As for the front the only concern is whether or not you think it would be weird to have leather in the back and cloth in the front.

The seats in the back should have been black in the cloth seats too imo. idunno

I agree. The whole interior should have all been black like the newer Celis.

It does look a bit ghetto fab. if I have cloth in the front and leather in the back. Hmmm...trying to picture what it looks like with cloth in the front and leather in the back.

If you don't eat in your car, there wont be that much of a problem...

I went from CLOTH to CLOTH and haven't had a problem - reason for sticking with cloth? because, living in Southern California during the summer, I don't like to stick to +150d leather grin

Yea, the cloth from my old red GT is still looking pretty nice. Been using it for about 4 years. How hard is it to swap the seats?

to swap the seats just make sure the car is off. it's a bolt on bolt off game. there are only 4 bolts that hold teh seat to the frame. 1 wire harness for the seatbelt sensor and possibly 1 other yellow harness for the side impact airbags.
If you decide to take out your stock side impact airbag equiped seat, make sure the car is off while you do the swap

Thanks for the offer SeeULater but I don't have the funds for seats. Asking this because I can swap seats without paying since my mom drives the GT now.

It is not the middle part of the seat that is jacked. It is the side of the pass. seat. It is weird. It is like old jacked leather.

SeeUlater, I would be interested in those seats. I just bought a 2000 GTS for my son and the driver seat is jacked. I’m new here so I can’t message you directly.
