Found my car has a flat tire this morning (looks like someone stabbed the sidewall on the driver's side angry ).

Anyway, I'm broke right now, so I'm gonna get it patched up tomorrow. How long can you run on a patch? Does it even matter, as long as they do a good job?

I'll be replacing all four tires when I get the cash, but that may not be for a few months yet...

Depends. I had a way old tire patched up (not stock). I went over 100 mph and the patch went. I didn't realize until I pulled into a gas station to fill the ol' girl up.
That same station re-patched it. I've had used tires, patched tires, spray flat fix tire, even run on the dough nut tire for countless miles. Of course I wasn't racing or going over 80 or even owned my Celica at the time. You can can for 5,000 miles like that, estimating by my own affairs of course.

dang I feel you ArumnDark... i need tires too. well, for your situation, i think that you should get a new one asap, or at least find some money some where to get the tire... Cause i remember when i took my tire to the shop with the same exact tire problem, the shop said that they cant patch the side hole on tires, at least i was told that by them, and if they did patch it up, it was going to be a waste of time only cause it not going to hold long... this is my advice only...!
