Do a search. I've posted this a millions times.

Intake: TPR
Exhuast: TRD, TSRM, or TPR
Headers: (wait for TPR)

AEM tru power underdrive pulley
ground wire kit
Optima yellow top battery
battery voltage stabilizer (hyperground)
Carbon Fiber your shit (lighter = faster)
new plugs, ignition wires, solenoid
fuel pump, fuel injectors, fuel rails
bore and stroke

That should keep you busy for the next couple of years.

BTW, when did they come up with this new section? I've been off the boards for over a week. confused

teh turbo!! grin really though for a little more than the price of the list above you can get a nice stg 1 kit from c2power and be done with it. Oh and having too much fun without big gas consumption.

what's your price range and what's your long term goal? Do plan on going turbo in the future? Have you thought about it? If you get intake, header, exhaust now they'll be a waste when you go turbo. But if that isn't much money to you, then go ahead and get TPR stuff as fast as they come out. And get the PowerFC which you can use for N/A or F/I. But if you have to smog in Salinas, CA you might just get the e-manage which comes with the C2Power Stage 1 Turbo kit.
When your clutch wears out, put in a lightweight flywheel unless you have the money (and don't care) to do it now.

I get my kicks on EC.

People tend to not turbo GTS, just because the gains are not as great as a GT and GTS has higher compression. Besides, for a beginner, sticking with N/A is your best bet. If he decides to turbo later on, anything you buy you can always sell as long as the product remains in good condition.

i know i have friends with a lot more money in performance in their celicas than i do in my teggy but i just own um its kinda sad and makes people really frusterated that want to go fast. you just dont get the Hp per dollar that you do with other cars but Celicas do look pretty bad ass and the the seats OMG i love Celi seats smile

also some cars are just ment to handle. i belive that some of the best mods for a celi are suspention work. goin it strait line is fun but there is something about taking a hairpin corner at 65 that is pracically orgasmic rice
