just use something very think that wont drip off i think, my twm didnt come with grease but my friends dad owns a trucking business so we used some for their bearings and scavenged what i could from the stock shifter
A boats a boat, but the mystery box could be anything....Even a boat!
I can't remember the exact grease I used for my short shifter, but it wasn't white lithium. I Used something that is more durable. I believe I used a bushing/bearing grease that was 1000X better than the simple white stuff. I think. The only reason why I know is because I went to the "bearing" grease first. Some stiff clear stuff and coats like mother giving birth in a Vaseline pool first. I ran out and tried the white lithium. The white stuff didn't even compare to the rest of the stuff I used. It was like water. Some all purpose red silicone grease for bushings, bearings, etc. should do the job pretty good I guess.
