I had that problem after I installed my CAI and exhaust. Toyota said the car wasn't designed to handle the extra power. My AC pipes in the dash where vibrating, so they wrapped them for me and fixed the problem.
I also had to get my wheels balanced and car alighned after a short time to fix another vibration problem.

Not sure if that was covered or they were just being nice. Toyota in Killen TX. are really great guys. It still vibrates a little. I gave up trying to make it perfect. I hate to say this, but I just don't think Celicas are made as good as they used to be.
What do you guys think? Did I just get a lemon because I can't get it to stop vibrating completely?

How far away is the next dealer? I bought my Celica in Austin because they had what I wanted, but they suck very badly. Complete assholes. Try another dealer or find a small shop to help you with small things like that.

Yep. Worth a try to find a good dealer. Good luck. You also have a lot of experts on here that are very helpful. AZZKIKR, QTRMLR_1, c2gas and others that probably know more than a lot of dealers. PM one of theser guys about the problem you have and I bet they will tell you how to fix it. I bug them all the time. They always know the answer to any problem I have.
Just one more reason this is the best site there is. The people here are 100 times nicer than any other site. Read one of the other forums some time and you will see what assholes they are.

agreed...i have the same problem...for me i think the AC vents seem to rattle..and my head unit faceplate does a little too because it's removable...annoys the shit out of me...as little things like that do. So what i do is just accelerate really fast to cruising speed..and then cruise at somewhere between 2-3k rpm to avoid it. Haha. btw i have a 00 GTS 6-speed

I installed my short ram intake couple of days ago and it feels like it's hitting the hood. I don't know if it really is. hm...

I had the same vibration problem with my 2000 gts 197 bhp.
and i noticed the vibration after modifying the exhaust system. The Toyota guaranties low vibration only with its factory exhaust system.

If you modify your car you have to secrifice some comfort in general... you spend money, time, vs...exhaust... than vibration.. try to change your slincer with a genuine toyota one... you will notice that the vibration disapears...

^^^uh...no..the last owner was a bitch, he did some aftermarket stuff and abuse this car, now i'm stuck with his messed up..bastard..
well i just came back from the dealer..found out one of the bolt on the right front axle has came loose..that's y my car rattle, squeak and thus add on the vibration of the key..now about 80% of the vibration is gone, the 20% are not too noticable..but way much betta then b4..oh yeah, if the next time the bolt came off the front axle again, i might have to replace it and it'll cost $819.13..what a bitch...well all good now..so word of advice to you guy who have this vibration: have ur mechanic look at ur front axle bolts and see if the thread are all in place and good..i'm happy, for now..man i hope it won't happen again..
