do i really need new gears?

i'm getting ready to buy the c2gas stage 1 kit for my gts, and i've heard that the stock trannies can't hold much over the torque the stock engine puts out, but the new gears/lsd that c2power sells for the gts are $3900! the turbo kit is only $3790!!! do i REALLY need the new gears?

I dont think you will need them if your only getting the stage 1, just watch your boost output.
