I dont have that much knowledge with exhausts, but i purchased a 3 inch exhaust tip for A$270.It is a little quite and ws wondring how to make it louder. And also, if you have an exhaust tip on its own, does it improve performance???

Tips themselves wont do anything but give your exhaust a new look, and for $270 I think that is highly overpriced. I really hope your meaning a Muffler or sometype of exhaust and not just a tip.

Which is like 212$ or so American. If you paid that much for jsut a tip,you got raped. A tip would cost...I dunno...15$ American maybe? I'm hoping you mean a muffler,or an exhaust or somethin

That's a lot for just the muffler, unless it's a Carbon Fiber-wrapped muffler.

to get more gains out of it, have a custom piping done for your exhaust system.
not only will you get better gains, but it will become even more louder. thumbsup

whats wrong with just a muffler? its way cheaper to get a muffler and custom piping done than getting a TRD exhaust kit.

plus the gains are better than most brands: HKS, GReddy, Apexi, ETC...

I plan on getting a Carbon Fiber Muffler and custom piping.

if you still have the stock muffler (mounted in front your gas tank) attached to your new muffler, you will free up...0 hp. if you have custom mid pipe, then maybe 1-2 whp...
