Has anyone tried using a blue film to change the color of the LCD screen on the gauges console?
I was thinking about buying the s7 gauges and then trying to do something with blue film to make the LCD screen match the gauges.
Any ideas?

you should try changing the led's. http://www.rjautoworks.com has different color oem style gauges. they are a little slow at shipping. it took a month to get mine, but it is worth the wait. here are some of the kits installed black/white gauges with white led'ssilver/black with blue led's

just sodder them i dont think film would work. the orange light may clash with the blue and it will turn out all dark and brown

trust me its worth going to the extra trouble of soldering new LED's, here's my gauge cluster with S7 and the LED convertion

I'm just worried about screwing up the job and needing to buy a new cluster. Is it true that the mileage is stored on the cluster as well? sO I would have to deal with that too if I fried the board.

you cant screw up the mileage i dont think. the sodering is not hard

were do you get those blue tach and sppedometer thingy thats soo hot i want that in my car but is it easy to install? the ones that barret has
