I have a 1zz engine that has been bored to a 2liter, soon to be stroked, and am wondering what kind of turbo would perform best, also i have looked into the c2 kits and sf as well, but i am thinking to install my own turbo, due to my little experience with turbo's want to know what would be the best to add then mod on the celica i have posted?

wouldnt boring and adding a stroker to the 1zz raise the compression?

high compression is bad for turbo.

please correct me if im wrong.

if the compression is too high, and you run too much boost, or say you spike at one point, that could be one dead engine.

Low compression engines are best for turbo charging. Don't bother. Chances are if you don't even know what the hell kinda engine you have, you're gonna fuck up putting in a t/c'er and all the other internal work you'll hafta do. Read what Zero says.
