Is there a way I can install my aftermarket sidemarkers without removing the bumper? I was thinking if I can get it on a good enough lift and work from there? Any help will be appreciated.

I got the hyperwhite bulbs with my ecelica clear corners and one blew... It didn't say not to touch them but i didn't want to take any chances... I put the bulbs in and made sure they were firmly in... After a few days of having them the left one blew... So i put my white bulbs back in... sorta pissed but what am I to do?

wedge bulbs are less likely to blow because the glass is quite thick...

if they do prematurely go bad - chances are that they were mis-treated / the harness with bulb was dropped or bounced around during the install.

it is very rare to hear about a side marker bulb to go bad - BUT IT DOES HAPPEN happywink

Over the past 3 years, I've lost count on the number of times the front bumper on my Celica has been swapped (50 to 75 times ???). I've gone through two packages of side marker lighting during this time. The lighting usually had gone bad during the swap of removing the lighting from the side marker housing and dropping it onto the plastics, just to get it out of the way while I pull the bumper off with the other hand.

the lighting for the corners is so inexpensive and incredibly easy to replace, that there really is no worry about it rice

...

I just recently replaced my rear turn signals and such with POLARG SUPER REDS / brighter lighting - the cost on doing that was ALSO under $10. no big deal and easy enough to do. thumbsup

isaac, waht do you suggest for fogs. I jsut bought a $30 pair of APC zenons and they looked exaclty like stock, like crap. I want ones that look as close as posible to my hid low. I know it not possible to get ther due to diferent bulb type. I am thinking of getting piaa spark blues but they are 80. Are mtec really as good as they are said to be? I" really dont care which is cheapest, i want the best result. I have seen all the threads on the subject but i wanted ur opinion. Thanks so much for all your help.

if you can afford PIAA... go with PIAA

if you cannot afford PIAA, take a look at MTEC (MTEC are on sale in the CelicaStore through the end of December)

Wow, that set of MTEC low, high, and fog lights are very cheap on the ECelica store. You will be hearing from me at the end of Dec. The sale is till the end of Dec. right?
