Ok, some of you might remember I had this problem a while ago and it still haunts me...

When I turn up my system pretty loud, after about 1 min on that level the tweeters cut out, and as far as I know this is a safety feature in most high end components to protect the tweeters from popping..

Honestly, im not playing it thaaaat loud that I feel the protection should kick in.. I consider myself a audiophile and I know when too loud is too loud...

I checked my wiring, rewired in out of phase/in phase, messed with hi/low by passes on both amp and headunit...

I just dont get it cry, I bought these damm components so I could enjoy clear sound at a decent volume and all I get is one frekin minute of it... angry angry angry

anyone dealt with this, any suggestions, besides, upgrading, or rewiring my whole dam car AGAIN cry

oh btw I have MB QUART components and nothing else cuts out in the car, except for the tweets wtf

one note ** I know the power cable Im current using for my amps is too small of an AWG , but would that cause the tweets to be overheating ??? I doubt it confused

do your tweeters if you remember have little fuses or a light in them??? Cause when i just put in mines they have this fail safe light in them for when they over heat this light goes off in them that lets off heat.

Id email mb quart and see if thats why they are cutting out. If its there "safety" deal then bring them back. There are plenty of manufacturers that will give you a good sounding tweeter at high volumes
