I just went to put my new hood on but then i rellized that on my orginal hood there are these rubber bumper things which screw into the hood. the carbon fiber hood looks like has the spots but they are covered by the carbon fiber and i am not able to put them on. I am not sure if i have to drill the holes out or if there is anohter way if anyone has had this problem or has an idea that would be awsome.

when you put your hoodpins in, your hoodpins will go in that location.

no need to transfer these rubber 'nubs' to your new hood

^^^ Yes, you need hoodpins. Otherwise your hood can fly up and smack the windshield, cause it's a lot lighter than the stock hood...plus a lot of the time the new latches aren't very good. Think about it...would you rather spend 15$ on pins, or buy a new hood and windshield?

Also it's a safety issue with the Carbon Fiber hood. If you were to get in an accident without the hood pins... it would be pretty fucking attrocious.

yup... it fits in the back just fine... you just have to be creative in how you put it into your car smile

Place the hood points facing the passenger side... first put both seats all the way forward and leave the doors open, then slide in the passenger side of your hood through the hatch and out the passenger door... then rotate clockwise the hood so that is slides under both edges of your trunk space. now rotate the hood counter-clockwise so that you are able to close the passenger door... slide the whole hood back to wards the rear of your car. now carefully slide both of your seats back and adjust them for your comfort... hood is now in your car grin

good enough for "Install Guide" material?
