I have heard some people tell me that you do not need new shocks with the TRD springs, but I also hear from a lot of people that it is best if you do get the whole shocks and springs package. So I dunno, hopefully someone can just settle this dispute once and for all with raw proof backing up one or the other position.

One installation instead of waiting for the shocks to be blown just to install something that could have been installed when the springs were installed.

if your struts (not shocks) are relatively new then it's cool. but i had my trd springs put it when my struts were at 70K...bad idea. in two months they were blown..
