So I went to class today and got out of my car, and realized the bottom of my backpack was wet. I found out that the floor on the passenger-side of was soaked! angry I don't know what's causing it cause I dryed it all up this afternoon and it was wet again tonight. Not only that but part of my windshield was fogged up on the inside tonight when I got in it.

I'm thinking it might be the ac vents or something but that's just a guess. idunno

Any ideas confused

try smelling it, see if it smells funny.

If it shows up again, grab some white paper towels and blot it off, and check what color it is.

This may be stupid but you sure it's not your backpack?

yeah, I'm sure it's my backpack. There's nothing in there but books.

It showed up again at night when I left my house again, and there was nothing in the car. confused

plus I had cleaned all the water up in the afternoon.

Ok, I took my passenger side floor mat out last night cause of the moisture, and this morning the carpet in my car is dry. wtf

It's been really humid around here, lots of fog and crap, could it just be that?

But I dont think a little Humidity and fog can soak up a carpet.

How come its only on one??? (floormat) confused

Mine used to do that in the trunk whenever it rained.
But I took it to a shop and they said that there is a air vent on the top of the hatch that was turned, so water can get in from the outside. They fixed it and I havent had a problem since. Do you know if there is any vents like that in the front? If there is that could be the problem. Hope this never confused you grin grin grin

perhaps the A/C drain got disconnected under the dash?

when the defroster kicks on the A/C pump turns on even if you choose heat

or the weather stripping on the side window. You didn't say if it was raining or not? Mine used to get wet on the driver side, and I had to have the door adjusted to seal tight against the window weathstripping. If its not raining, i would agree with the a/c vent answer.

I had that same problem. I bought it to the Toyota dealer and they said that the AC drain hose was clogged with debree. If your car is still under warranty they will take care of it. They just cleared out the drain and put in Frigi Fresh.
