I'm about to order a set of KYB GR2 shock absorbers from performancepartsstores, just wondering if they are suitable for a 1.4" drop(Tein S-tech) confused

get the KYB AGX they are so much better, they are adjustable and will be able to handle everyting you throw at them.

well he asked for gr-2s, not AGXs. since the KYB GR-2 are the same as the trd struts and they are used for a 1.2 drop i guess they are fine. however you're shortening the life of the struts.

its really up to yo want you want to set it at if you like a stiff ride and want better grip then turn that dial all the way up but if you like a stock feel then set it soft. I dont think the shocks will help tremendously with the understeer.

I have a kyb gr2 and tein springs on my car right now. The ride quality is nice and the sturts are a resonable cost. The only thing i dont think the car will drop all the way w/the new shocks on. Mine still hasnt droped 1.4" and I installed them in mid-August.

you void the warranty on the kyb agx shocks if you drop more than 1.5"... so no, they don't take whatever you throw at them...

just because a warranty will be voided doesnt mean that they cant handle anything after 1.5". there are plenty of people that have these shocks and will attest to there strength.

the gr2's are the same as the TRD struts and the eibach sportlines are used as the TRD drop springs...if you want a TRD drop then go with these
