there are plastics, inside, under the hatch (where the spoiler is on)

there is a screw in the handle of the plastic, remove it. after that, pull the plsatic off. they are held by plastic clips. if for any reason the clips are still attached to the hatch, use a pair of pliers to pry them off.

there are a total of four(4) bolts holding the spoiler. use a 10mm socket wrench that has a long extension.

be careful. make sure that the hatch is at an even level with you while removing the bolts. if not, then the bolts will fall in the the hatch and will be very hard to remove.

hope this helps, if not PM me. wave

^^^yes, its the same for all year celicas with stock spoilers.

The removal of the TRD wing is much more difficult.

Also, there is paint under the spoiler.

Yeck... those holes and protrusions are like pimples -- yellow, puss-filled pimples.

Can water drip through those wholes or can you cover them with something?
