Well its been a while since Ive done anything to my car, due to some financial difficulties...so I havnt really been around here to much lately.
recently Ive had a scare with my AEM CAI, stalled out in a puddle, so I decided to replace it with a short ram. So I ordered the Injen off of here(thanks Isaac), got it on and everything looks and sounds kosher,no CEL, and even have better throttle responce from cleaning the MAFS while it was out...but now my tach seems to be stuck at 8200 rpm and dosent move at all
anyone know the reason for this? or a solution? and if its something stupid feel free to call me an idiot

if you have different gauge faces, sometimes the needle will stick. friend of mine had a WRX that did that. he'd go, and the tack would stop and stay at 4 grand no matter what. maybe that's it...other than that, i dunno.

Did you unplug the negative battery terminal during the install?

sure did, and Im pretty sure my problem is what Panda mentioned if it resets the needles when I reconnect the battery, may have happened then
but on the way home last night it must have freed up and everything is working fine now

Thank you.: Blue BatMobile for sponsorship, Isaac for installing strut bar, Easy_C for being a great friend, Sakara for entertainment, DaBigTickett for the laughs. Everyone at Ecelica! You guys rock! Random: How many emo kids does it take to screw in a lightbulb? None, they just sit in the dark and cry.
