hey, my friend Eric recently got his bulb wiring harness replaced since his melted, and he says that it can withstand more watts than the stock wiring harness, therefore he can insert/use high watt bulbs. Also he says that it also makes his headlights brighter. I am thinking about replacing my wiring harness.

Any input from you guys would be greatly appreciated. thanks you.

Unless you already melted your wires like he did, it would be more logical to just get HIDs. Otherwise, you're basically doing an extremely involved mod to fake the look. spineyes

Would running too high of a wattage melt your headlight plastic? Or does wattage have anything to do with output temperature? smile

That's a very valid question... another reason I'd just go with HIDs. spineyes
