From what people are telling me they say my clutch is going out. So i was wondering if a clutch is a do it yourself installation or a mechanic's job?

i would say a damn mechanic job because you have to take apart the tranny, and that's a bitch in itself thumbsdown

I've done clutch jobs before it's really not all that bad it took me like 4 hours to take the clutch out, had the flywheel resurfaced and put it back together in all it took about a day to do if you have the right tools

You don't have to take the tranny apart, you just unbolt it from the engine! Easy as cake.-> just kidding.

Agreed.

What is usually the price range for an install job at the shop?
