are they really dangerous? and if so, in what conditions? and i mean wheel spacers not wheel adaptors.

i asked this awhile back but got varied responses

spacers push your wheels out more. this is good if you have flared fenders.

adapters allow you to change your bolt pattern. this is good if you have wheels that wont fit your lug pattern.

for safety, i think it's no greater than 1/4" for the wheel spacers. i have, i think, 5/16" spacers siting on my car floor right now.

i'm waiting for my 18" rims to come in before i mount everything. then we'll see if extended wheel studs is necessary. one shop said yes, another garage said no, but we'll see...

yea..im having a widebody being done...and the racinghart 0 offset rims (identical to those of the APR GT300 car) are no where near wide enough for the car. long story..bottom line...i need spacers.

i've had a lot of people speculate. Just wanna know if anyone knows for certain how 'dangerous' they are.
