Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior aftermarket cv axles

does anyone know of an aftermarket cv axle for our car, i've done a search but keep getting applications for other cars. i've got a torn cv boot right now, but i think the damage is already done, i've also got a whine sound at constant speed without any stress on the cv axle, like going down hill. any ideas on this would be appreciated.

I dont know of any out there. That winding sound could be comming from the tranny if you are going down a hill with the car in a gear. If you really want to see if the cv joint is bad take a turn(doesnt have to be hard just normal) and listen for a noise then. Or look inside the torn boot with a light and see if there is any dirt or anything inside of there. New CV joints are expensive. Also there would be no real point in aftermarket ones because our car with tons of modds will still be able to run on the stock cv joints. This is why I dont think that there is any aftermarket for them. Any other questions please feel free to PM me.
