Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Help with HID kit install

i just got myself a HID kit with hella balasts.
my question is how does the installation go overall?
from the ballast, there are 2 wires going out, one with two plastic heads and the other two from the other wire are metal heads. im assuming the plastic heads goto the bulbs, and the metals to the wiring.
wut else should be done in order to install this kit well? connect bulb to wire and conect the cars headlight wiring to the ballast. attach ballast somewhere safe. is that about all or do i have to do any rewiring?

you may or may not have to change your headlight fuses to take on the initial spike of electricity needed to power up the ballast.. and nice choice.. Hella

i didnt change mines. I kept it at stock 10 amps and i never had a problem with it. But i did notice a return wire shadow on it. I had to do some modifying to make the shadow go away. it shines brighter now
